Autumn in the Air

Fall into a good series, leaf through a great book, or attend one of our awesome autumn programs - it’s Fall at EHFPL.

Summer officially ends on Friday, which makes this week the perfect time to get started on a TV DVD box set, pick up a new mystery-thriller novel, or join some new clubs. EHFPL has you covered on all 3 counts. What better way to start off Fall, than with a short trip to your local library? (Get it? Trip, Fall? Ha!)

Video Games for Kids: Super Smash Bros. Brawl

It’s always a blast, when classic video game characters like Mario, Sonic, and Pikachu throw down. Stop by for some all-ages action as the world’s most famous video game characters compete to knock each other off the screen. (Rated E for Everyone)

Like to Quilt? Join the Club! Quilt the day away with East Haddam’s finest quilters.



All New Story Hour

This week: How do leaves change color and why? Make a decorative leaf wreath and listen to fantastic fall stories.

Ages 3+


Teen Video Games: Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Are you the Sultan of Smash? Choose your favorite Nintendo character, and grab a wii-mote for a wacky evening of fighting game fun. Make Mario take on Donkey Kong, See Sonic smash Solid Snake, Play Pikachu vs the Pokemon Trainer. The last character standing wins! Never played Super Smash? It’s a great night to start. Take a break from school, meet up with old friends, and make some new ones.

Terrible Thursday (Bad Movie Night)

Join Your Friendly Neighborhood Library for the best of the worst films ever made. This month: Creature From the Black Lagoon!
